Add new testimonials to the Wix page you already have
You don't have to rebuild the page. Many Wix testimonial pages are text typed in by hand, so each new testimonial has to be pasted in too. You can keep doing that with Wix's own strips and repeaters, or place a widget on the page that shows new testimonials once you approve them, and import the old ones.
How owners do it today
When we looked at 70 testimonial pages on Wix sites with free wixsite.com addresses in October 2026, 43 were plain text boxes placed on the page by hand. We took one page per site, found through Common Crawl, and fetched each one on 2026-10-23. Of the other 27, 19 used a gallery, 5 a slideshow, 2 a repeater and 1 a widget from another company. Sites on their own domains weren't in the sample, so it describes free sites only.
Wix gives you two ways to build such a section yourself, and Wix Help's article on adding customer testimonials covers both:
- A testimonial strip: in the Wix Editor, click "Add Elements", click "Strip", scroll down to the "Testimonial" presets, add the one you like and edit its text.
- A repeater: click "Add Elements", then "List", then "Repeaters", and add a list. You edit each item's text in place, and "Manage Items" lets you duplicate an item for each new testimonial, as Wix Help's article on managing repeaters describes.
Both work, and both cost the same thing: each new testimonial is pasted in by hand. Someone has to ask the client, wait for the reply, copy the words into the Editor and publish the site again.
Where a widget fits
A widget is a box you place on your page once, in the Wix Editor, that fills itself. With Vouchnote, your clients are asked after their Wix bookings, at most once every 90 days, and each testimonial shows in the widget once your client and then you have approved it. The widget shows the newest 12 testimonials you approve, and its layout follows how many there are: a single quote, a strip of 2 to 5, or a wall from 6.
You can put it under your existing section, so old and new sit together, or replace the old section with it once the old testimonials are imported.
Moving the testimonials you already have
- Import what your page already shows. Vouchnote reads your own published site and lists the testimonials it finds, up to 50. You can shorten one, but not add to it, and you confirm each is real. Imported testimonials show in the widget straight away, without a client's approval.
- Remove the old section yourself. In the Editor, delete the strip, repeater or text boxes that held them, and publish your site.
- Let the crawler check. Vouchnote reads the page again to confirm the old section is gone, so the same words don't show twice.
Free sends up to 20 requests a month and includes the import. The pricing page has the full list for both plans, and the page on how Vouchnote works walks through setup.

When to keep what you have
Keep your page as it is if new testimonials arrive a few times a year and pasting one in takes you five minutes. Keep it, too, if the design matters to you: a gallery with client photos looks the way you made it, and a widget has its own card, quote or minimal style. And Vouchnote can't help if your clients book somewhere other than Wix Bookings, Pricing Plans or Events, or if your business isn't in the US.
Wix menu names checked against the Wix Help articles linked above on 2 November 2026. Wix changes its Editor from time to time, and Solimark LLC re-checks these steps.
