Ask your clients for a testimonial after their appointment.
Someone deciding whether to book you reads your site first, and what your past clients wrote tells them more than anything you write about yourself. Vouchnote asks your clients for those words after their Wix appointment, and nothing goes on your site until you approve it.
Vouchnote is a Wix app for US businesses that take appointments, sell plans or run events through Wix. A couple of hours after a booking ends, it can email the client and ask for a few sentences. Nothing goes on your site until you approve it, and Free sends up to 20 requests a month.
This opens Vouchnote's page in the Wix App Market, where you install it.

Why testimonials are worth asking for
Most people read what other customers said before they choose a local business. In BrightLocal's 2026 survey of 1,002 US adults, 97% said they read reviews for local businesses. That survey asked about reviews on sites like Google, not testimonials on your own site, and BrightLocal sells review tools, but it shows how much a stranger leans on other people's words before booking.
A testimonial is the one part of your site written by someone who has already paid you. Clients mention things you'd never put in your own copy, like that you remembered their dog's name or that the first lesson wasn't as scary as they expected. Details like those answer the worries a first-timer has, in the words they'd use themselves.
Several testimonials that agree count for more than one glowing quote. In the same survey, 56% said a review is more believable when other reviews say the same thing, while 26% picked a long, detailed review. Those are people's answers about what they trust rather than a record of what they do, but they point to asking clients regularly instead of once.
Asking also changes who writes. Clients with very good or very bad experiences tend to speak up on their own, and the ones in between mostly stay quiet. A 2021 study in Management Science found that asking customers raised participation most among people with moderate experiences, which made the overall set of reviews more representative. That study was about public reviews, and asking doesn't make everyone write back.
Testimonials won't fix a price that doesn't fit or a services page that doesn't say what you do, and they don't replace clients recommending you to friends. Only 49% of the people BrightLocal surveyed trust online reviews as much as a personal recommendation. We can't tell you how many bookings testimonials will bring.
How Vouchnote gets them for you
A couple of hours after a Wix booking ends, your client gets a short email in your business's name with one button. They write a few sentences on a short form and tick a box to let you use them, then we email you their words. Once you approve them, they show in the Vouchnote widget on your page, which shows the newest 12 testimonials you approve.
The full walk-through shows the email, the form and the dashboard step by step.
If your site has no testimonials yet
Your site doesn't show what past clients said yet, and asking each one takes time you'd rather spend with clients. When you install Vouchnote, you can press "Ask recent clients" once to ask people whose appointments ended in the last 30 days. On Free those requests count toward the 20 for the month.
If you'd rather ask by hand first, our guide on how to ask clients for a testimonial after a booking has wording you can copy and a free Wix route.
If you already have a testimonials page
Keep new testimonials coming after the page is built. Vouchnote can read your own published site and import up to 50 testimonials it finds there. You can shorten one but not add to it, and imported ones show straight away. You remove the old section in the Wix Editor yourself, because an app can't edit the pages you built.
Our guide on adding new testimonials to the page you already have compares this with Wix's own strips and repeaters.
Classes, memberships and events
A class booked through Wix Bookings works like an appointment, so students can be asked after a class. Vouchnote can also ask a member once per plan after they buy through Wix Pricing Plans, and ask each ticket holder once after a Wix Events event. The pages on testimonials from members who buy your plans and testimonials from your event guests give the rules for each, and on Free one large event can use all 20 of the month's requests.
The rules we hold to
- Every client who writes back sees the same link to your Google review page, whatever they wrote.
- Testimonials your clients write through a request are approved by them. They can change or withdraw their words later, and nobody else edits them.
- Nothing shows until you approve it. Hiding a testimonial needs one of five reasons, such as abuse or someone else's personal details, and never its rating or tone.
- Testimonials you import come only from your own site, up to 50. You can shorten them but not add to them, and they show straight away.
We ask you to approve a testimonial after checking that it is about your business and safe to publish, never by how positive it is. FTC guidance says businesses shouldn't publish or edit customer reviews in a way that distorts what customers think, and since October 21, 2024 a federal rule has banned rewards that depend on a review being positive or negative. This is guidance, not legal advice, and using Vouchnote doesn't make a business compliant on its own.
What it costs
Free sends up to 20 requests a month and shows the testimonials you approve. Pro has no monthly limit on requests, for $29 a month or $290 a year.
Pro is $29 a month, or $290 a year ($24.17 a month). Prices are in US dollars, and Wix bills you. The pricing page lists what each plan includes.
What Vouchnote doesn't do
Vouchnote works only on Wix sites that take bookings through Wix Bookings, sell plans through Wix Pricing Plans or run events through Wix Events, and only for businesses in the US for now. Each client is asked at most once every 90 days, and a member is asked once per plan. A client who has already written a testimonial or unsubscribed isn't asked again. No-shows aren't asked. When the plans trigger is on, a booking paid with a plan isn't asked; the member is asked once after buying a plan instead, unless the plan is free or one you skipped, or was bought before you installed and you didn't ask recent clients. Requests go by email, and there's no text message option. Whether clients write back is up to them, and we can't tell you how many will. Every client who writes back sees the same link to your Google review page whatever they wrote, and we can't see whether anyone leaves a review there. Each widget shows the newest 12 testimonials you approve, and Vouchnote sends at most 100 requests a day per site, with the rest going out the next day. We don't serve medical, dental, mental health, allied health, cosmetic injectables, legal, investment advice, tax preparation or adult businesses.
