Vouchnote is a Wix app that emails your clients after their Wix Bookings appointments, Pricing Plans purchases or ticketed events and asks for a few words. Your client approves what they wrote, then you approve it, and it shows on your site. Each client is asked at most once every 90 days, and Free sends up to 20 a month.

Does it work with Wix Bookings, Pricing Plans and Events?
Yes, with all three. After a Wix Bookings session ends, the client is asked 2 hours later by default, unless they were asked in the last 90 days. A member who buys a paid plan through Wix Pricing Plans is asked once, 30 days after buying by default, and only while the plan is active. Ticket holders of a Wix event are asked once, 2 hours after it ends, and event requests stay off until you confirm them in setup.
Does it work with Square, Calendly or Acuity?
No. Vouchnote only sees bookings, plans and events made through Wix's own apps, so a booking taken through Square, Calendly, Acuity or any other tool never gets a request.
Which countries does it work in?
Only the US for now. Setup asks where your business is and stops if it's outside the US.
Which businesses can't use it?
Medical, dental, mental health, allied health, cosmetic injectables, legal, investment advice, tax preparation and adult businesses can't. Setup asks for your industry and tells you if it's one of these, and nothing is sent.
Do my clients need an account?
No. Your client presses the button in the email and writes on a page we host, without signing up or signing in. You don't need a Vouchnote account either, because your Wix login is the only one it uses.
Who is the email from?
It comes from your business name, sent from our mail domain. Its footer says why the client got it, shows your postal address and has a link to stop further emails.
When does it send?
After a booking, it sends 2 hours after the session ends by default, and you can set a delay of up to 30 days. Emails only go out between 9am and 7pm in your site's time zone. After a plan purchase the default is 30 days, and you can choose anything from 7 to 90.
Can I change the wording?
Yes, partly. On Pro you can set the greeting, the sign-off and the question for each service. The rest of the email stays the same.
Does it ask unhappy clients too?
Yes. The request is the same whoever gets it, and everyone who writes back sees the same Google link. We ask you to approve a testimonial after checking that it is about your business and safe to publish, never by how positive it is. Hiding one needs a reason: off-topic, someone else's personal details, abusive, believed fake, or written by an insider who didn't say so.
Will I get more Google reviews?
No, we can't promise that. We count clicks to your review page, and we can't see reviews.
Are there star ratings?
No. The form asks your client for their words and their name, and there are no stars anywhere.
Can it send texts?
No. Requests go by email only.
How many testimonials show?
Each widget shows the newest 12 you approve. One testimonial shows as a single quote, 2 to 5 show as a strip, and 6 or more show as a wall. On Pro you can limit a widget to the service on its page.
What about testimonials I already have?
You can import up to 50 from your own published site. You can shorten them, but not add to them, and you confirm they're real. They show straight away, without a client's approval. You then remove the old section from your page yourself, and Vouchnote checks that it's gone.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. Free has no end date.
Free sends up to 20 requests a month and shows the testimonials you approve. Pro has no monthly limit on requests, for $29 a month or $290 a year. Prices are in US dollars, and Wix bills you. The pricing page compares the two plans line by line.
How do I upgrade or cancel?
In Wix. You move to Pro from the Vouchnote dashboard inside Wix, where Wix takes the payment, and you cancel in Wix too.
What happens to my data if I uninstall?
Seven days after you uninstall, we delete your testimonials, your requests and your clients' details. If you reinstall within those seven days, nothing is deleted. Testimonials you copied onto your own pages by hand stay there. The privacy policy lists everything we keep and for how long.
I build sites for clients. How does billing work?
Each client site installs Vouchnote on its own and starts on Free. A site that needs more than 20 requests a month moves to Pro in its own Wix dashboard, at $29 a month or $290 a year, so an agency pays for Pro once per client site.

What Vouchnote doesn't do
Vouchnote works only on Wix sites that take bookings through Wix Bookings, sell plans through Wix Pricing Plans or run events through Wix Events, and only for businesses in the US for now. Each client is asked at most once every 90 days, and a member is asked once per plan. A client who has already written a testimonial or unsubscribed isn't asked again. No-shows aren't asked. When the plans trigger is on, a booking paid with a plan isn't asked; the member is asked once after buying a plan instead, unless the plan is free or one you skipped, or was bought before you installed and you didn't ask recent clients. Requests go by email, and there's no text message option. Whether clients write back is up to them, and we can't tell you how many will. Every client who writes back sees the same link to your Google review page whatever they wrote, and we can't see whether anyone leaves a review there. Each widget shows the newest 12 testimonials you approve, and Vouchnote sends at most 100 requests a day per site, with the rest going out the next day. We don't serve medical, dental, mental health, allied health, cosmetic injectables, legal, investment advice, tax preparation or adult businesses.
