How Vouchnote works on your Wix site

You install Vouchnote from the Wix App Market, then fill in one setup page: your business type, how long to wait after each service, your postal address and your Google review link. After that, Vouchnote can email a client after their booking ends, at most once every 90 days, and their reply waits for your approval before it shows.

What you need

Installing it

The first three steps and the last one happen in Wix, so they follow Wix's own help pages. Steps 4 to 6 happen in Vouchnote's screens inside your Wix dashboard.

  1. Open Vouchnote's page in the Wix App Market and add it to your site. If you're already in the Wix Editor, you can instead click "Add Apps" on the left, search for Vouchnote, click it and then click "+ Add to Site", as Wix Help's article on adding an app to your site describes.
  2. Pick your site and allow the permissions. When you start from the App Market, Wix asks which site to add the app to and which permissions to grant. If you started in the Editor, Wix already knows the site, and Wix Help says you click "Allow and Add" to confirm.
  3. Open Vouchnote from your site's dashboard. Wix Help's article about the Wix App Market says the apps you add are listed under "Manage Apps" in your dashboard.
  4. Fill in setup. You choose your type of business and your country, how many hours after each service ends to send the email, your postal address and your Google review link, then save. If you leave a service's hours empty, Vouchnote waits 2 hours.

Part of the setup page for a demo business: a delay in hours for each of two services, Private Yoga Session and Beginner Flow Class, then the postal address box and the Google review link box.
Setup for a made-up business, with a wait time for each service, the address and the review link.
  5. Send yourself a test, then let the first request go. The "Send me a test" button emails the request to the address on your Wix account so you can see what clients get, and setup isn't finished until you open it. After that, the first request goes out once a confirmed booking ends and its wait has passed, and we email you when it has gone.
  6. Ask recent clients, if you want to. This button is optional and works once. It covers bookings from the last 30 days and, if you've turned those requests on, events from the last 30 days and plans bought in the last 12 months that are still active. On Free those requests count toward the 20 for the month, so one press can use all of them.
  7. Place the widget in your editor. Wix Help's article on adding apps in the Studio Editor says that when you add an app, a widget is often added to the page you're working on. Open the page where you want testimonials, check the widget is where you want it, and publish your site.

What your client gets

The request email from a demo business: a greeting, two sentences asking how the Private Yoga Session went, a Write a few words button, the postal address and a link to stop the emails.

The form your client fills in

The reply form, empty: a box for the client's words, a box for their name, a tick box for anyone connected to the business, a consent tick box and a Send my words button.
The form, before your client types anything.

After sending, your client sees their words with a Copy my words button and a button to review your business on Google. They also get a link to change or withdraw their words later. Withdrawn words stay off your site.

The thank-you step after a client sends their words: the words are covered by grey bars, followed by a Copy my words button and a Review Demo Yoga Studio on Google button.

What you get

We email you the words with a Review and approve button. In your dashboard, a new testimonial waits for you, and nothing shows on your site until you approve it. We ask you to check that each testimonial is about your business and safe to publish before you approve it. That check is up to you, and Vouchnote doesn't make it for you.

The email the owner gets: the writer's name and words are covered by grey bars, followed by It stays off your site until you approve it and a Review and approve button.

The dashboard counts the requests sent and opened, the testimonials written, waiting for you and live, and the clients who went on to Google. If you hide a testimonial, you pick one of five reasons:

A low rating or a critical tone isn't one of them.

Bringing in the testimonials you already have

Vouchnote can import up to 50 testimonials, and only words it finds on your own published site. You can shorten one but not add to it, and you confirm each is real. Imported testimonials show straight away, without a client's approval. You remove the old section in the Wix Editor yourself, and Vouchnote reads your page again to confirm it's gone.

Plans and events

If you sell plans through Wix Pricing Plans, Vouchnote can ask a member once per plan, 30 days after they buy it by default. You can set anywhere from 7 to 90 days, and the member is asked only while the plan is active. Free plans are skipped unless you turn them on, and you can skip any plan. The memberships page has every plan rule.

Requests after Wix Events are off until you turn them on in setup. Each ticket holder is asked once, 2 hours after the event ends, even with several tickets, and guests who RSVP or hold a free ticket are asked only if you turn that on. On Free, one large event can use all 20 of the month's requests, and your dashboard shows how many guests will be asked so you can stop it. The events page has every event rule.

The sending rules

Free and Pro

Both plans work the same way. Free sends up to 20 requests a month, and Pro has no monthly limit, sends one reminder to clients who haven't replied and lets you choose the logo, greeting, sign-off and a question for each service. The pricing page lists every difference.

Wix menu names checked against the Wix pages linked above on 2 November 2026, and the screenshots were taken from the app on the same day. Solimark LLC re-checks both when Wix or the app changes.
